Hi, I experienced the same problem with my Maytag electric dryer. My problem was finally resolved when I inspected the vent tube/pipe and found a mouse nest. Once I removed this mouse next, my electric dryer worked perfectly. In the winter time, mice love nice warm places and a dryer's vent pipe is very attractive. Just a thought. Good Luck!
