No heat in the dryer. Everything else seems fine. Is it the element, or am I missing something? Where can I get schematics? Samsung DV328AEW

Hi, I experienced the same problem with my Maytag electric dryer. My problem was finally resolved when I inspected the vent tube/pipe and found a mouse nest. Once I removed this mouse next, my electric dryer worked perfectly. In the winter time, mice love nice warm places and a dryer's vent pipe is very attractive. Just a thought. Good Luck! Please remember to rate my solution. Thanks!

Testimonial: "Thank you for the suggestion. I tried the lint trap and then the vent by just disconnecting the vent hose, and still nothing. It looks like element."

It seems to me that you have a defective relay in the main control board.

Not drying clothes

First check your breakers in the main box. The dryer lights and drum will spin with 110 volts only the heating element needs 220 volt if one of the breakers or fuses are tripped it will not heat. Trip the breakers off then turn them back on and check it. If it still wont heat check the heating element and wires leading to it as well as the 110/ 220 volt connector it may be bad or have a wire off, if all is ok then the heating element is probably bad and a new one needs put on.

Everything seems fine but will not heat up I checked continuity, on every thing and it seems fine and I did the more less more less and all codes came up fine took the heating element out and it seems fine...

First things first...Are you sure that you have 220 volts to the dryer? Just because the motor runs doesn't neccesarily mean you have the proper voltage. Also check the connections where the cord comes in to see if they are tight and intact.
