I have the same camera..when it does that, your computer should be searching for new hardware so you can view your pictures. depending on what you use to view your photos(e.g. kodak easyshare,is where you will view the pictures you have taken prior to plugging in the camera. If there is nothing to view you then its obvious you have taken no pics.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Just bought new camera it says msdc

The MSDC option in digital cameras stands for Mass Storage Device Class. It is one of the many subclasses of the USB computer peripheral connection protocol.

This class as implemented in digital cameras, allows a connection between a computer and a digital camera by showing the digital camera, when connected to the computer, as a removable disk drive, temporarily attached to the computer. Pictures taken are retrieved using either cut and paste, copy and paste or drag and drop from the digital camera's picture folder onto a real hard drive or other writeable media available in the computer.

In addition, arbitrary data (does not have to be pictures) can be stored in the digital camera's onboard memory to the limit of the memory. The MSDC device class can be implemented by any kind of electronic device which has embedded memory storage in any form such as flash memory, IDE hard drives, etc.

How do i transfer pictures from my camra xias ices-003

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as the free Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I CANT FIND MY DISK DRIVE FOR THE CARD I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THE CARD AGAIN IT SAYS RADEON HD 2600PRO 8XAGP 512 COMPLIESWITH CANADIAN ICES-003 CLASS B

Go here http://www.radarsync.com/driver/d274602-ati_radeon_hd_2600_pro_agp and click on the Get It link for your flavour of Windows. Seems as though ATI does not provide the drivers for the AGP card directly and you have to go through the OEMs to get it. But the download from the link above will no doubt work for you and get your card going again. You really have no need for the CD other than the driver which is freely downloadable from the link I provided.
