HI
On my roper, in the fridge there is water leaking in from the ceiling (base of the top freezer). Seems to happen only at night. I currently have bowls on the top shelf to catch the water. I do not have an ice maker. How do I find the freezer plug to see if that is clogged?
Hi I reckon you gave either an ice block in the defrost drain system or a blockage caused by loose food bits. You can clear the ice block if you keep the fridge off for 24 hours leaving both doors open. If you have a small table fan to circulate warm room air you could speed up the process.
The second type of block with food bits may need you to open the internal rear panel of the fridge and push through a stiff wire to clear the blockage.

This is usually caused by a plugged freezer drain. The back wall (or floor) of the freezer may come out to access the drain. Clear out anything visible and run a stiff wire thru it. Test with a cup of water. Hope this helps!
