Do you want to physically see the video card, or see what kind of video card is in the laptop? To see within windows, press: "windows key+ pause break", go to "hardware" tab, press "device manager", expand the "display adapters" section, and it will be listed there. To actually "see" the physical video card, you have to take apart the laptop.

(Toshiba Satellite M35-S456) G-Force nVidia 5200 graphics card

To determine if your video card is faulty, connect an external monitor to the laptop, power up the monitor first and then the laptop.
The video data will automatically switch to the external monitor and if you see a normal image then the video card is OK and the fault maybe the video cable, it may need reseating.
If the image still has the strips, the same as the LCD screen then the fault is most likely the video card or video RAM..
On some laptops video RAM uses part of the main memory modules, reseat the RAM modules and if this doesn't fix the problem then the fault is the video card. This very difficult be fixed becaused it is part of the motherboard.

CANNOT INSTALL GAMES LIKE CALL OF DUTY IN MY NEC VERSAPRO NX SERIES LAPTOP.

This is because a game like call of duty requires a video card and most laptops don't have a video card, it is just shared video. You'll need to upgrade your laptop to a model that has an nvidia or ati video card or save the high end games for a desktop that has a video card.

Thanks and please take a moment to give this solution a thumbs up rating.

Dell -0DT492 compatibility with nvidia geforce

Hi,

It seems that you have an integrated video card.

let me give you two options.
upgrade your mobo and video card which will probably cost you $500.00

or upgrade your memory for $200 to increase shared video memory.

hope this helps.

thanks,.

Graphics card driver for Sony Vaio VGN-FZ410E

Sorry but most laptops come with video on board and not a separate video card to upgrade to another card while not impossible would be very expansive. you would have to get a desktop computer with separate video card installed to play your games
please post rating thanks
