Make changes in the "Voice Message" section of the programming menu.

You can look at Voice Mail area to remove the message from the messaging list.

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

The light is a message from the computer that maintains one of your monitored systems. You can just go to one of your local auto parts places and they will go out with a scanner and check to see what the message is for you. The computer has detected a problem and while the problem exsist the light will stay on.

There are messages or the light would be out. On an idle phone, press MESSAGE. Look at the display. It will tell you where the message came from and the 3rd soft key will let you CLEAR the message. When they're all gone, the light will go out.

What system is this phone on? What voicemail is the system using?

Need those 2 pieces of info, before an accurate answer can be said.

There is this thing on Norstar systems called Reply message... this turns on your voicemail light, but there is on messages when you go into the mailbox.

Try this: FEATURE # 6 5
There might be something on you set that will tell you who sent the message, and you can hit the # or press the OK button to cancel this message!

press speakerphone and then press 700 and your ext #. Your lite will go out.

Seconds is the key. Press MESSAGE and look at the display. It will tell you who the message is from and one of the soft keys will be ERASE or DELETE.

The message was probably left manually by a co-worker and not the voice mail try entering feature 65 that should send you to who turned on the message light.when the station is called back the light should go out.
