Search in google for (WinAVI MP4 Converter).
the out put file should be two file's.
the video name should be (M4V20001 and continue M4V20002, M4V20003, M4V20004).
if not you should name it.
the other file name should be (M4V20001.THM and continue M4V20002.THM, M4V20003.THM, M4V20004.THM)
the same here if not you should name it too.
and it will work :)
Regards.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I prefer converting video formats with Format Factory. A free software that provides the MPEG-4 formats required for the PSP. Just make sure the MPEG-4 file is H.264 and not DiRX. Format factory also lets you change MPEG-4 into H.264 MPEG-4 as well. Good Luck.

oh my gosh. this is sooo ********. i have a mac and i cant get any videos to play on my psp. they just say "corrupted data". ive tried basically every format. what does sony have against apple? im so ******...

Took me 2 weeks of testing free software and just frustration cause this software I suppose works for older PSP operating systems, but it does not work with PSP purchased in 2011, I believe operating sys version 6.37.
I found something what does work, but it is not free. For $30 which is basically a price of just one UMD movie, Instal, try and if you like it, pay for full version. Put your movies in "Video" folder on sony stick.

it means u put a wrong video format psp will not accept. u have to convert the video file to mp4 so that your psp can play, and u can try this video tool, then u can watch the video on your psp after correcting the format.

Copying a file manually Copy the video file to Memory Stick Duo media to enable it to be played on the PSP system. Using a PC, create a folder named "VIDEO" within the Memory Stick Duo media, and then copy the file into that folder.

Psp and getting video output

Hi, my advice would be to make sure you are putting videos that are compatible with psp. In some cases if you try putting a video in a format not compatible with the system the data will appear as corrupted. So, how do you get all videos to the psp. Simple you have to use a video converter before you send videos to your psp video folder. Check this page out for a free video converter: www.pspvideo9.com/

PSP running a firmware 2.80 or newer, you can also use MPEG-4 in MP4, which also plays MPEG-4 videos. then Copy Video file To PSP into "VIDEO" folder", and you are done! to play it, on psp menu > Video > MemoryStick > x(enter) / triangle (information).

format Memory stick with psp for get organize of folder. hope this helps.
