Hi, read your complaint. If the frig. is 4.5 years old, their may still be a factory warranty on the compressor. You need to contact your nearest { brand } factory authorized servicecenter in your area to check on this. You will need the complete model number and serial number to give them. I know that a few years back, all frigs. went to a one year warranty. Whoever you contact can tell you if it is or isn't. If there is no warranty, contact a good reliable servicer to check the frig. out to make sure this is the problem. Hope this helps.
