I couldn't find the manual online to download but I did find the contact information for the company through email. Pick the tech support option.

I had the same problem. If you are in Australia, the Dimplex Customer Service number is 1300 6739 033. I phoned and they are mailing me the instructions. Maybe don't say you bought the machine at a garage sale.  
If you are not in Australia, try the way I did to get your local customer service number - Google the product number and go to the Dimplex website, and there should be a "Contact Us' button with a phone number or mailing address.
