Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
I have to assume that you are hooking it up to a router, most Linksys and Netgear routers have DHCP on by default so you should allow the XBOX to accept a DHCP assigned IP address. If not then you'll need to figure out if your router is using a private IP address scheme of either 192.168.0.X or 192.168.15.x - if the xbox is your only device on the ethernet network besides the router then you could use 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.15.2 for the xbox, depending, again, on the scheme in use by your router. The router should be .1 by default. Hope that helps.
