Adobe reader could not open 'template.02{1}.zip' because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged

Adobe Reader, I tried versions 9.1 first and then uninstalled it to see if version 7 might work better, gives me the error message that my ___.pdf file is not a supported file or is corrupted. I am able to open some of the same type of files from my source and not able to open others. Makes no sense!

hi,
have you the last update of the reader ?
one thing you can try if you have an hotmail or gmail account, its to load the pdf to your online drive, and then go to your account, go to the same folder and open it selecting read on-line (on-line readers are always up to date !) if that way it doesn't work too, your file is damaged !

I cant open msi files on my laptop

Hello the file is probably in the zip format (compressed file)
and you need to unzip the file before you can use it.

Here is a free program:

http://www.7-zip.org/

Download and install the exe file.
When installed right click on the zip file and choose 7 zip and extract here or to a folder.

Other files from msi uses adobe reader.
Download here:

Good luck

A try download a particular pdf file but each time after i download it, i get this reply when i try open it 'pdf file damaged and cannot be repaired' what exactly is d cause?

May be the file is actually damaged, or may be your PDF Reader is actually damaged.
First try to download the PDF file from different source(s) and then try opening that file.
If it doesn't work, go for different PDF Readers. Like you may try the Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader to open that file.

1. Download Adobe Reader 10.0 here
2. Download Foxit Reader 4.3 here

Free Instruction manual for the Asus K50 Notebook

Here it is (click here), it's a pdf file zipped inside a Winzip file, you'll need winrar or winzip program to extract the contents (the pdf file). And also, you'll need a pdf reader, like Adobe reader or Foxit Reader to open the file (manual) on your computer.

Click here to download Adobe Reader.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Ile system error

Hello,

There's a firmware update for the MP610 on the manufacturer's site.
Open internet explorer and enter cobyusa.com in the address bar.

On the Coby site enter MP610 in the Product Search bar. Now all support for this player will show up in a list.
Download the firmware update for File System Error ( a zip file ).
Unzip the file, to see the update file and an instruction manual in pdf format.
When you're not able to open the pdf file, get Adobe Reader ( freeware )with next link:
http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Adobe reader error message

In Internet Explorer, when you click on a link to a pdf file,
you get the error message “Adobe Reader could not open ‘filename.fdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted.”

This error is due to an issue with Adobe Acrobat viewing PDF files in a web browser.
Try the following:

1. Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options and on the General tab to erase all temporary files, cookies and history data.
2. Under Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options, on the General tab click on Settings and make sure you select the option “Automatically” for checking for newer versions of the stored pages. Then attempt to open the PDC file again.
3. If solutions 1 and 2 do not work then uninstall Adobe Acrobat, then reinstall it again.
It seems that Acrobat 6 is more prone to this error so upgrading to Acrobat 7 may solve the problem.

All d best.

Any furthur help feel free to ask me again i will be more than happy to assist you.

what file are you trying to open? adobe reader only opens documents in pdf and adobe format. when opening a program, right click then choose "open with" option, and select the appropriate program to open the file with. most of them open with internet explorer or ms word.
