Being slow to load webpages could mean you internet is slow or lag or it could be that you have to much cookies in your folders for the comuter to handle

first do this goto tools >intenet options>Browsing history > hit the delete key a menu will pop up hit delete all and should take a few min and it wil clear it up if not try a disk clean

try this for disk clean up
hit start bottom left of computer goto Accessories >system tools>disk clean this should take a few min then look on list and make sure all items on list are check and then hit delete it will as you if your sure hit contiune or yes and wait a few min might take longer if there is a lot of stuff in it that is junk

i hope this helps you out have a good day :)

Wont load videos no picture say on youtube

There isn't much information to go off of here, but from what I understand you cannot load videos specifically. If you can load other pages (text, web docs, etc.) but not videos, it may be an internet connectivity problem where your internet is throttled, or a software issue preventing you from loading videos. Try using a different browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Here are the links to download them if you need them. Chrome Download Firefox Free Web Browser

If you cannot load pages at all or it is extremely slow, it is definitely a connectivity problem. Find your router (usually the one with antenna or is only connected via ethernet cables) and unplug the power cable for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If your network is unsecured, you may have "leeches" on your internet connection, or people you have not authorized to connect on your network. To solve this, apply a password to your Wifi connection. Let me know if you need help with this.

Wireless is slow and intermittent

Sounds like you may still have a 'rootkit' virus. This is a virus that doesn't show up in a normal scan. You need to use a virus scanner that will start as soon as you turn on the computer. It does its scanning BEFORE your operating system boots up. Avast anti virus will do this as well as some others but you have to choose this option from the antivirus program. Another option is to take it to someone who can do this for you.

I can't get the manager cd to install

I just got mine to install...the disc loads extremely slow. it took me about 4 tries of 'not finding internet browser' errors, then I went into 'my computer' and clicked on the disc drive and ran 'setup.exe' file and it got me to the point of choosing my camera on 3rd attempt, then it took 4 tries of going back after choosing my camera before it FINALLY FINALLY installed. incredible. it did finally work, so continue to try and it loads very very slow on each page so be patiend with it.

The modem is extremely slow-most downloads are far too slow

Dialup phone lines usually only transmit a minimum of 8 Baud. NetZero's high speed (5X) faster is done by caching pages you have already visited, not actially running internet but loading pages faster on your computer. Check your modem setting, 56k, 112K are normal speed setting to connect. Check your actual connection speed, 28.8 is probably all that you are getting on dialup.

Fast Page Loads Slow Downloads

it really depends on how far you are from your Router. The farther you go, the weaker the signal gets resulting in slower speeds. Slower speeds will not affect web page load times (they are tiny parts of data) but will definately affect download speeds. You need to be as close to the router as possible or get perfect range. You can put the router at higher elevation in the room to get a better range to start with. Let me know if this works for you.

Netscaping

Yes, Netscape 6.2 will work properly with the web page-based interface used in D-Link DSL routers, however, due to problems the browser has loading Java applets and working with Java scripts all of the features may not be visible. Netscape 4.7 does work with the interface, but is extremely slow in loading the various configuration pages. For these reasons, it is recommended to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 to configure D-Link DSL routers. Internet Explorer loads the pages faster and Java applets work properly, as shown below. Note the tree in Fig. 1 (using Internet Explorer), representing the router´s various configuration pages and in Fig. 2, the PPP Connection information. Using Netscape 6.2 as shown in Fig. 3, the configuration tree is missing and in Fig. 4 the PPP Connection Information is not displayed.
