Cartridge jammed

Hi there,
Error : Cartridge Jammed
Cause : The print head holder cannot move. This is normally due to a paper jam.
Action : Clear the paper jam or whatever is obstructing the print head holder. Reload the paper in the machine correctly and press [OK].

Hope this helps.
Have a good day.

It shows Service Error 6A00, a message that shows up and the printer will not print. It has ink and paper and the correct printer driver. Help me fix it at home if possible. DATravland@aol.com or (352)...

Hi
Error 6A00
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Won't print, and shows Error Code 3

Check to see if anything is stuck inside. Sometimes a small fragment of paper gets stuck inside and triggers the "jam" message.
