I bought a used pair of Swarovski 8 .5 X42 EL that have small scratches on both eyepieces. Doesn't seem to affect the view... Is this repairable? Would it cost a fortune through Swarovski?

Won't be cheap, that is for sure. Under most conditions the scratches will not be an issue but under low light level situations when your iris opens up you may notice some slight anomalies in the image.

Ive bought a helios lunar cadet 2 telescope second hand with no users manual where can i get one

You cannot get one. Those small imported telescopes do not have manuals.

Go to Meade's web site and look under either the REFRACTOR or the 4.5 Inch REFLECTOR heading for a scope that is similar to your scope. They are all assembled and used in a similar fashion.

How to sight in a z6 swarovski scope 10x42

the easy way is bore sight it,,,,,first clamp the rifle in a stand and look down the barrel at some thing like a post top at say 100 yds when you see the post top in the bore dont move the rifle any more till you have tweeked your scope so the cross is on the top of the post top,,,the rifle is then bore sighted,,,now clamp the rifle down and test fire it,,,it will likley shoot low,,,so tweek it till it shoots right,,,,you should get it spot on in less than 5 rounds,,,dont try to hand hold your rifle when zeroing,,,you need to get rid of as many wobbley bits as you can,,,gees whats the bigest wobbley bit?,,,,yep we are? so clamp it down till it shoots right! also dont fire more than 5 shots or you will get your barrel hot and this changes the point of aim,,,in a sporting rifle???

I need a users manual for tasco galaxsee 46-060675

Do you need a users manual to ASSEMBLE the scope? Or are you looking for how to USE the scope.

This is a very small 60mm refractor on an equatorial mount. Not much bigger than a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. The binoculars would have been better for sky observing! The euitorial mount must be polar aligned with the star Polaris before it will work properly. We never recommend equitorial mounts to beginners for this reason.

Please read my TIPS in my profile page to learn how to polar align the scope, and what you can do to improve the scope.

If you need a manual for assembly you will not find one for Tasco BUT Meade has a similar scope. They all assemble in the same way. Here is the Meade Manual:

I have a Nikon D-70 and a Swarovski spotting scope AST 65 I purchasted the Swarovski KA TLS 800 adapter with a t mount. I am trying to set up the camera to take photos but the come out real dark. any...

Sounds like the lens you're trying to use is very slow compared to a regular camera lens. You may have to increase the ISO or raise the exposure compensation setting to get lighter pics.

Question about Swarovski Scopes

iv had this problem many times before,,,its more likley to be a bad set of mounts not inline with the barrel,,, if you have ran out of windage adjustment,, to get over it i use a strip of 35mm film inside the scope mount to push the scope over a bit,,, but a new set of mounts would be the best way forwards

FH101 head jerky panning movement

Not knowing where you reside, I don't know if a certain product is available to you but there are several different brands and some generics in the US. The original oil additive was called STP, there was a competing brand called Motor Honey (shudder) and in many auto supply houses you can find a generic sold for 'high mileage engines.' It is a refined petroleum product with a very high viscosity and is sticky in nature. If you can access the surfaces causing the problem, a dot ot two on either will probably help with the jerkiness you are having. I have used the stuff for similar gliding surfaces and the only disadvantage is the tendency to 'creep' so keeping the applied quantity low is a must.
