You can find replacement LCD screens for N95 in this link. There is also a video explaining the installation:

Note that N95 and N95-8GB have different LCD screens.

I hope it helps.

Nokia n95 8gb lcd is blank but i hear it's turning on

if its blank you have to replace the lcd screen with a new one.
sometimes it maybe a flex cable problem which occurs in some slide phones.

at mobile phone repair stores, the cost of an original lcd screen replacement is usually $150-$200, though sometimes an original lcd screen may not be fitted into your device but rather a hong-kong made one which is similar to the original but is less brighter and a little less sharper.

if you take it to a nokia care centre to replace the lcd screen you may have to pay over $250.

you can just buy an lcd screen off ebay, replacing the lcd screen yourself isnt hard with the tools provided. you just have to take the ribbon cable from the old lcd screen and insert the new lcd screen and plug in the ribbon cable for it.

the reason for original Nokia n95 8Gb lcd screens being so expensive to repair/replace is that it is also the same lcd screen used for the Nokia N96.

Accidentally moved the bin folder from the e:\sys

Kudos to you for having the wisdom to do a backup.
Heres the fix
Turn off phone. Hold down "*", "3" and the green call button all at the same time, Turn it on while keeping all 3 buttons pressed until the phone has fully started up. This resets it to factory default and works with any symbian phone. Restore the backup.

FYI avoid the v30 and v31 firmwares as the hellocarbide hack you are talking about has been disabled

I htink the problem of your phone is the Connector that connects your LCD or monitor to the motherboard of your phone. There might be bended pins or the pins are bended and can't reach your phones monitor......that's why it can't transmit images to your screen, cause as what you have said you have replaced your LCD with a new one.If you found out that the pins are bended and can't be place to its usual position, better buy a new one for a good output.
By the way, u can find the connector that I'm saying right at the bacb of your LCD but it's not a part of the LCD, it is consists of several pins grouped together.
Try to check it, some of it might have been bended to much...notify me if it works or not,..
If it does work please rate my solution...Thank you!

Nokia n95

well it sounds like you have two major problems first you need to get the lcd change and the phone's need to have the firmware reflash........take the phone to a recognise mobile service center and have them replace it for you and fix the freezing issue.

Replacing LCD screen

just follow the basic steps in opening nokia phone... look for any screws and unscrew it, if thiers no more screw but still you can open it. probably it got locks, so look for it and snap to open it then you open your phone.... in changing your lcd, thiers a flex connector that connects your lcd to its board. to open it use a tweezer to open it and do it slowly to avoid damaging the flex...

good luck...
