Hey guys, My RX-V661 has been working dandy for over 2 years now. However, just recently the sound has ceased to work. Speakers are all secured and the unit is pushing power out through the positive and negative connections for speaker wires on the back (I checked with a multimeter). I have checked all the modes to make sure that the audio mode was set to 'Auto' and have reset the unit several times. No sound for any type of connection works (i.e. DVD, DVR, VCR, DTV, iPod Dock). I was thinking that maybe a capacitor was blown in the unit? But we haven't had any storms or power surges within the time frame that it quit working. Figured I'd give it a shot on here to see if anyone could help?

Hi all. I have a few Motorola DCP 501s that I purchased and had added to my comcast account. They have been great. however, one of them has developed a problem. Intermittently, I began receiving "One Moment Please..." message when trying to use for TV. I've confirmed with 100% certainty that the problem is not with Comcast but with the box. It has connectivity with Comcast and properly shows the guide, etc. Comcast sent someone out and confirmed that they "see" the box and don't have a problem. Any suggestions? Can I repair this? Thanks!!

My Denon avr-1706 receiver sporadically auto changes inputs (e.g. from auto to pcm or dts) or sporadically auto changes speaker modes (e.g. from 5 channel to movie mode or jazz mode). Sometimes the volume sporadically adjusts to a super loud volume. And sometimes the whole system just shuts off. Is this the amp protector circuit where the system simply needs to be kept cooler (it's an a cabinet now) or is my system fried?
