Where is the reset button on my zodiac mp3 - Mach Speed Zodiac MP3 Player

check salinity if ok bad sensor and unit in error mode

there is a 'secret' reset button located toward the bottom left of the control screen. if you run your finger around the zodiac symbol, you will find the indent where the button is located.
you will see all the lights go off and then light (or the other way around) as it resets.
make sure the leads are all connected.
if this doesnt work, or stays the same, remove the cell and inspect where the leads hook up to see if one has burnt off inside the cell. sometimes, you have to clean the cell to see it properly

sounds like bad control board

to adjust the volume first hit the lower left button which is the volume/back button then you would use the right and left arrow keys to adjust the volume on this unit. for future reference you can download the user manual by clicking this link and it explains everything about your Mach speed zodiac.

You say it's an mp3 but you want to put videos on it. Do you mean mp4 or are you just trying to store the files? Either way, if you connect it to a computer you should be able to just copy and paste like any other file. An mp3 player might not recognize the files even in it's browser, but it should store the all the same and they should show up anytime you access the player with any computer.

I once had a similar issue and found that the switch had to be on. If yours has a switch as well as a button to power on you should check it. If it won't even turn on to play stuff or anything you might try checking the battery. Lithium ion batteries have several built in safety features that disable the battery if it gets too hot or gets overcharged, or even if it runs completely dead. It has a built in power monitor that can run the last bit of power out and that can also disable the battery. Ideally li-ion batteries should be stored with 40 to 60 percent charge and kept refrigerated to maximize their life span. At room temperature they lose about 20 percent capacity per year. If all else fails you could try running a virus scan, unlikely though.
