ON MY ACER ASPIRE 5334 LAPTOP, I CANT FIND THE CRYSTAL EYE WEBCAM :( AND IT SAYS " NO ITEMS FOUND" IDK WAT TO DO? WHEN I FIRST GOT IT I OPENED IT ONCE AND WHEN I WENT BACK I COULDNT FIND IT??? I DONT REALLY KNOW WAT TO DO? :p HELP? IV KINDA TRYED EVERYTHING THAT CAN HELP ME ON THIS WEBSITE. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP ME? SOON?

The Camera is fact Liteon, and your using sunyin driver to operate it, is that correct?

If so, WHY?

Apropriate and recommended drivers for specific hardware, else things go BELLY_UP!!!!

Try installing the recommended drivers for your Liteon camera.

Not installed? Look at the Device Manager and see if there is a camera under Imaging Devices, if not, it is not installed.

In use by another user, well rebooting would take care of that issue.

If it's installed and the drivers are there correctly try ManyCam, it's so simple.
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

i can't find acer crystal eye for Acer Aspire 4820t

If you are certain that your web cam is no longer installed you can re-install via the Acer Recovery Management Program. From main recovery menu, option restore to reinstall applications and drivers, open application/drivers menu, find "Suyin Camera Utility Crystal Eye" click green driver icon to the right to re-install.

Uninstall webcam and restart computer it should automatically reinstall the driver for the camera and if not try updating the computer if still not working go to Acer support and look for the drivers and software for the type of Acer you have witch is the 4720i and make sure also you are installing for x64 or x32 bit computer found in your PC Properties... Hope that helps....

Open "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista) and it should be listed as a device there.

Acer crystal eye webcam software can be downloaded here:

If you go to your start menu, look for a programme called 'acer crystal eye webcam' and that will bring up your webcam programme.
It is not in the folder 'Acer crystal eye webcam' though, just 'Crystal eye webcam'.

start \ all programmes \ Crystal Eye Webcam \ Crystal Eye Webcam.

If this proves fruitless, type webcam into the search option at the bottom of your start menu and look for the crystal eye webcam.

If these do not work, then look in your control panel to make sure it is installed. If not, contact company, they have a good customer service standard (from my experience)
