I have a thompson ths220 recorder and am unable to record programmes. I go in to epg menu and book a programme but the usb file is not compatible


It is possible that the USB drive is not formatted to the required specification (FAT/FAT32).

I switched to att.net for incredimail and am unable to send e-mai


If you are using windows mail you need to modify you account settings for the new mail server. You need to know your user name and password for your account. You will also need the Incoming Mail(POP3) and Outgoing Mail(SMTP) and if the server requires authentication. You will get this information from AT&T. Once you obtain this info you can modify the current account or add a new one using under the tools tab then accounts.

Internet did't send or receive data


Then un-install your network driver and software then reinstall it. Also make sure your using the version of software for that network card or chip in system. That will make a big different the wrong version and it will not send or receive. You should see TCP/IPX listed in your network property's

You tell me to use my email address as my password but when I do, it rejects phillman@verizon.net, telling me it is already used. That's impossible.

You are receiving this error because of one of two reasons:
1) Your email account is not set up properly. Click on Microsoft Outlook, click on Tools, then Accounts. You will see a window with columns stating Account-Type-Connection. If an account is set up then click on it then click on Properties. Click server tab and you will see the SMTP server block and the POP3 server block. Both of these fields will read as follows: pop.XXXXX.net and smtp.XXXXX.net. Your Internet Service Providers name will be in the XXXX. If these are not set up properly then you cannot connect to send email. If they are filled out correctly then you need to call your Internet Service Provider and inform them of your situation. Their server is not working properly.

I have just changed from BT to Sky Broadban via a wirless router - and since the change I can receive my emails, but I am unable to answer them - can you help please


i am assuming you have setup your email client, as you are able to receive your emails, the problem is in the sending email settings , check these settings ,they should be provided on your email providers website.possibly called "email configuration settings" or something similar.

Pls check if if you have enough free space in the mail box as the sent mails will also be counted towards the size.
Pls delete unwanted mails and also sent mails.
Pls check with the mail server settings i.e. incoming mail server and outgoing mail server information.
