Hi

This issue seems to be with the gas inlet valve or the igniter itself that is bad. Gas Valve has a bi-metal that open when a certain amount of current flows through it to heat it up. Make sure that the glow bar is not cracked. Faulty igniters can allow correct current to flow to the oven gas valve for it to open but not get quite hot enough to ignite the gas burner immediately. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

This was my problem also. I purchased a new igniter & installed it. I did have to splice in the old quick connect because the new igniter came without it (bare ended). Testing the quick connect w/a voltage meter, I wasn't getting power past the quick connect. Found that the wiring inside the quick connect was loose. Pushed the wiring back up inside it firmly and the connection made. Oven now working.

My Gemini double oven needs to heated to 550 degrees before the broiler will ignite. I've been dealing with this for years. How can I fix this issue? Jim

Hi,
This repair you had done was to repair and prevent the door to the upper oven from building with gas as the broiler was know to do. This was a safety issue for the time period UL required. You can select the low broiler to speed up you preheat time but there is no known fix to by-pass this mode. Sorry for the bad news, good luck

Oven will not heat past 195 degrees

Check and see if you have blown a fuse which is usually in the top of the stove in the area of the clock if you have one. You usually can get in from the back of the stove at the top.

I have a maytag MER6772 electric rage and the bottom oven will not heat past 100 degrees. the top heat to 350 then's cuts off. I replace the Control board wahts next?

The board cannot function if the sensor is bad. You should always check a sensor first.themobilian_898.jpgthemobilian_899.jpgthemobilian_900.jpg
Use this chart to check the sensor.

I have a Maytag Gemini Precision touch 750 series double oven range MGR6775ADB. The lower over is not responding. It will not preheat. The display says preheat and stays at 100. There is no flame igniting.

This sounds like your ignitor has gone out. The preheat will work because the valve doesn't have to ignite to heat to 100 degrees, but whent he unit is ready to ignite, the gas can't ignite it. If you will call or email us, we'll be sure to get the correct ignitor out to you asap so you have your oven orking right away! Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so I hope you get this repaired soon. We hope this helps and we hope to hear back from you soon.
