Question about Apple iPod touch
I mistakenly bought the 2.0 upgrade for the IPhone and downloaded it to my IPod. Now everything is gone and I can't get it back. What can I do?
When you upgrade, it effectively does a "Restore" which wipes out the info that was on your hard drive.
You may (I'm not 100% certain on this) be able to get to the info using a program like Touch Copy http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/ (it has a free trial).
It's worth a shot if it works. Otherwise your data is gone.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
