OFFER. I CAN NOT SHUT IT OFF FROM THE PUSH BUTTONS ON THE FRONT.
NEITHER DOES THE MENU, CHANNEL, OR VOLUME BUTTONS WORK. I TRIED A
REMOTE CONTROL AND PROGRAMED IT TO ALL AND ANY CODES TO NO AVAIL ANY
IDEA'S?

Is the Remote you are using an original factory supplied one from Philips?
If NI, then get one. You could ask the local Philips / Magnavox dealership, tho I have my doubts, from the age of the TV. If the dealership has one, yopu could borrow it for amn hour or so. Then use it to go to Menu>SETUP> DEMO or MENU>DEMO>DISABLE and disable the Demo function.
Otherwise, as you said, Out Front of the House on Garbage Pick UP day.
