Question about Sony VAIO VGN-UX280P Notebook
Everytime i turn on my UX280P it shows a white screen and it never leaves I cannot see anything at all.It does not show Windows loading or anything, I cant even hold F2 to see the system bios. What is causing this and how can i get rid of it.
Most likely the problem is the screen or other hardware errors.
If it is the screen, then you should be able to see the Hard drive activity LED flashing as things load.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Dunno about a shortcut but often the VGA port has to be enabled in the BIOS which you may not be able to see right now but the control of the display is primitive under Win starts doing it's *magic* so text may still be visible. I'd try entering the BIOS menu and snoop around.
