Sanyo dp3247 was working earlier today but when I turned it back on this evening I can hear it click on ..but No picture or sound. Help please?! I'm 86 yrs old and this is my source of entertainment. Is it something I can fix?

In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

time for a new one, this one is not worth what it will cost to repair at that age

line o/p transformer &transistors are gone .. any service person can replace them
