Unplug the power cord from the all-in-one. Wait about 30s.
Press and hold # and 3 keys while plugging the power cord back in. This will perform a partial reset.
Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to initialize.
>>After the reset reselect language and country.
If it still persists, try a full reset by following the same steps but pressing and holding # and 6 keys instead.
Hope it helps.

I cannot find how to change language frm swedish to english

Assuming that all the text is inSwedish and you can't understand it then follow these instructions. Using 'PANEL' button(X at bottom left) on front facia select the top left Panel (black screen with XPERIA written accross the bottom) now select windows logo(top Left)at the bottom of the list should be a 'blue circle with a question mark in the middle of it', immediatley above this should be the 'Settings' folder - select this. You should now have icons(pictures) with 3 'Tabs' along the bottom of the page - select the middle one ( this should be 'system') now look for a Globe (picture of the World) this should be 'Regional Settings' - select this. From the drop down menu select 'English' and whatever regional dialect you want, when you have done this tap top right corner, this should be OK until you are back at the Main Panel, now shut down and then restart X1, you should now have everything in English. Good luck.

The printer is now in Swedish writing

small test... Hit the Go button 3 times, fairly fast like tick-tick-tick, normally by doing this the printer will print it's internal configuration pages. Are these in Swedish as well?

If I'm correct you selected the wrong supported language when installing the printer.

Go to your controll panel, remove the printer driver in "printers and faxes" as well as any brother software in "add/remove programs".
Then disconnect and reconnect the printer, install the driver and try to select the proper language while doing this.
