Ok. There should be an application on your pc that came for the keyboard. Most likely it should be in the Control Panel. If you do not find anything there, you can check in the Keyboard Section....

Also, look in the taskbar and see if there is a keyboard utility....

If the buttons are blue, try holding down the FN key when pressing them. If they are buttons that are not on the keyboard, there is a driver to enable them that you should be able to find on the support site. Official Toshiba Support Toshiba Put in your model number or serial number and check out the drivers tab.

Turn wireless

The HP2530p buttons are "touch sensitive" and are located at the top of the keyboard just above the F4 & F5 Keys along the strip where the power switch is. Just touch the orange light and it will change to blue (on) this is the same for the volume screen etc, blue is on, orange is off, Just touch and play

Sensitive j key

Hello there,

you can adjust sensitivity of your keyboard in Control Panel -> Keyboard.

If this is happening just with the J key, there might be some hardware issue with that(broken key). Try to replace it.

Hope this helps

There are some items that will need to be updated to the new OS. I am including a link to HP's website. I would look at the driver section (there is new drivers for the quick launch), and the software solutions. In fact since these will be the most updated driver and software patchs for Windows 7, I would probably download most of it. Hope this helps and fixes the glitches you seem to be having.

The touchpad is so sensitive I can't control it

You've got it, your touching the touch pad, annoying isn't it.

You can try a couple of things,

1) Go to Start - Control panel - Mouse/Touch panel - and see if you can reduce the sensitivity or,

2) Disable your touch pad (Same route) and use an ordinary mouse instead. That's what the wife does.

No sound is coming from my speakers.

Best bet is to first try the software.

Assuming you are using XP, go Start> Programmes> Accessories> Entertainment> Volume.

Make sure all sliders are up at max and none of the mute buttons are turned on.

If these are all ok, try reloading the sound card driver.

Then see if the sound works with Windows commands (power on / off etc).

Try and work out if all of the sound is off or only when the DVD is playing.

Playlist problems

The only way you can get the tracks to play in order is to rename them before you put them on the player.

eg.

Album title - 01 - Track name
Album title - 02 - Track name
Album title - 03 - Track name

Album title - 10 - Track name

and so on

The albums will stay together, and the track number will put them in order within each album. Just remember to use 2 digit track numbers or they will sort 1, 10, 11, 12, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Cd dvd drive only recognises cds

Just check if the region code has not been locked. If you cannot play DVD's at all, first clean the lens, then install a good DVD player like cyberlink etc and then try. If the issue is related to Data DVD's as well, change the media that you are using, eg change the media type to Samsung, Sony and check. Lemme know if it works.
