NOkia N70 hangs even after Reset with 3 * and Call key

This sounds as though it is a software problem.
You will need to do a master reset if you can, if not then you need to do a software update if this doesn't work.
If you cannot do this yourself you will need to take it to a nokia service centre for them to do it for you or speak to nokia directly.

Try to reset:

*#7780# (*#rst0*) - This will soft reset your phone. It is different from *#7370# because all data, like contacts, calendar and notes, are not removed.
It will only reset the phone settings, such as profiles, themes and shortcuts.
The default lock code is 12345.(Read Method 3)
or try this(But it will fully format your phone)
Method 1:
Three Finger Reset for Nokia Phone
1. Switch off your Phone.
2. Hold down the following three keys, Green (call answer button) * (Star) Key, and Number '3' key.
3. While holding The Three buttons, press the power button for switch on the phone.
4. Wait for the message 'Formatting' to the screen On Your Mobile and release all keys when you see that message.


Method 2:
Hard Format of Nokia Mobile Phone
1. Switch off your Phone
2. Now Press following key-*#7370#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding All of the buttons, press the power button for switch on the phone.
5. Wait for the message 'Formatting' to the screen On Your Mobile and release all keys when you see that message.

Method 3:
Soft Reset of Nokia Mobile Phone
1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7780#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding All of the buttons, press the power button for switch on the phone.
5. Wait for the message 'Formatting' to the screen On Your Mobile and release all keys when you see that message.

Please Note:
The formatting method will erase all of your Phone data.
Please take a backup before you Format.

Switch-off your phone.

1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!


2. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory settting.

it is simply a software problem ,go to nokia care and reinstal ur phone software

Hello, you can get this done through Nokia PC suit.

solution is nothing u should go to ur nearest mobile care center and tell him to make full factory default coz it need ufsx box or some box

try pressing going for a soft ware upgrade must solve it

Try a reset:

Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.

If that works to switch your phone on, you'll need to do a software update, via Nokia PC Suite. Go to the Nokia website of your area.

try to HARD RESET FORMAT
make sure your battery is more than 3bars,
just press the green botton, 3 ,* and power botton at the same time.

Don't release it until you see the Nokia blink and the screen turn on white' and then release all the botton you press.
wait untill your phone re-boot.

a lot tobe done in that problem of your... but i can give you one of the best... place yur unit in table so you can be cmfortable...the press all the keys in same time these keys are key *,key3,the call,and power on switch... much better if you had buddy beside you..to hold the unit... press them in same time or together, dont release it until you dont see a word formatting... wait until it finsih and the unit will be restarted by itself... enjoy
