Question about Cameras
You haven't given any camera details but here is a basic start. Have you used one of the preset modes i.e. Landscape, Sport, Portrait etc. You may be using one of the creative zones Av, Tv etc. which requires you to dial in the settings according to what you are photographing and trying to achieve. These are a little more advanced.
Basically your shutter speed is to slow. Try using the preset zones first, Landscape, Sport, Portrait etc. or full Auto.
