Hi,

sounds like you may have sucked up a baby sock or something similar into the pump intake of that machine, and your inline filters are clogged. my sisters old GE used to do that (eat baby socks) unplug it and turn off the water spigots, start undoing them from the wall with channel lock pliers and machine examining the ends of the hoses(theres filters on the ends) for minerals and deposits, scrape them off with a small blade screwdriver or equivalent, also going into the machine the valve intake bodies (where the hoses screw into the machine)have filters in them also, clean them off but be careful they bend and break easily and may have to be replaced, . Now for the pump, undo the drain hose and grab a bucket, put the bucket on the floor and put the drain jose in it, if nothing comes out you need to move the machine higher than the bucket so maybe move the washing machine to the door and let the hose hang out the door, down the stairs if you have them and into the bucket, now depending on the machine you need access to the pump, either theres a access plate on the back or the machine may need to be tipped on its side so you can see under it, use a flashlight to kinda get an idea where its at. Several people argue wether or not a washing machine should be put on its side but the maytag man told my brother that if the machine is newer theres no problem so go ahead and gently put it on its side if you have to gain access that way, the pump housing resembles a pool pump kinda and you should be able to find it easy, the drain hose comes right from it, the housing on most of them are translucent so you can kinda see through it to see if theres something in there, using your channel locks undo the pipe clamps from the intake of the pump to the hose from the bottom of the macchine and look inside the pump, careful of the plastic part$ the pump can be run two different ways on that machine but a direct drive most likely so try and spin the pump drive either way to see whats hanging it up. My sister started putting her baby socks and small stuff in an old pillow case for washing after I had to fix it AGAIN. good luck

Aeg protex how to open door mid cycle

To open door during mid cycle, turn off washer by plug and wait a couple of minutes until you hear a click, then the lock light ( assuming it has one ) will release, but make sure there is no water in the tub before opening the door. If possible when door is unlocked, run the drain setting and let the water pump out before hand. Hope this helps.

make this steps and fix it. God bless you

Lid Switch Assembly

If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly

Water Inlet Valve

If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.

Main Control Board

If the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components.

Stops mid cycle and the 400 and 0 spin lights flash

According to the service manual ( which you can download ) it is the fault code 05 which means NTC failure. This is the water temperature sensor.

Washer stopped during spin cycle

Hello, try to checked the pump filter, and the pump is actually working. then I would suspect a draining problem.
If filter clean and pump works fine then it could be a control module fault. if this were the case, then it would probably be wiser to purchase a new washer.
Thanks

Maytag Atlantis 7700 - Noisy agitation/wash cycle from motor

Your drive motor may be fine. Check the water pump that is located in the back behind the small metal door on the left bottom corner and see if thats where your noise/water is coming from. These extraction pumps have bearings casing that gets mangled and locked up. Look right above the flywheel that the belt rides on in the W-pump.

Washer stopping mid-cycle with no error

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you have drained, unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out. F-21 filter blocked.

How abt a nice rating for the free help?

Washing machine stops mid cycle and lights start flashing

Drain the water by lowering the hose into a bucket or something and then try it on spin, if it spins o/k then you probably have blocked pump or filter.
The filter is located in the large black hose that is fastened to the bottom of the drum, remove and clean.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.
