Which version should I get?

Hi there, wonderful people who offer help!!!

I have a MAC OS X- iBook G4 - Version 10.3.8. Which version of iListen should I get?? - Your answer would be highly appreciated - I have tenosynovitis and since I depend on my hands to work on translations this is an urgent matter for me. I would also like to know if there is a tech support number I can call with questions, and if you know where to buy the type of iListen I need since it seems to be pretty difficult to find them.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I need to upgrade my iBook G4 OS X 10.4 to 10.5

You would need a PowerPC G4 867MHz or faster processor and 512MB of RAM in order to do that. You will also need to find a copy of OS X 10.5 from a 3rd party as Apple no longer sells the OS installation disc.

I just purchased the Mac OS x Snow Leopard but I have since heard there has been problems it. Is that true? Do I have to back up all my pictures etc before I install it. I have the Leopard now.

i reccomend always backing up any important files before installing any new os no matter wether a problem has been reported or not you can never be too safe in overwriting but i would also like to say that I havent heard of too many serious problems yet with the new mac os

Typing lags in quark

It sounds like your computer does not meet the recommended requirements. They are listed below for version 8:
  • G5 PowerPC processor or Intel processor (G4 minimum)
  • 1GB RAM (256MB minimum)
  • 1GB hard disk space
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • If you only meet minimum requirements then it is likely to lag as you are experiencing. To fix the problem you could try and install more memory in the system.

HI, I have been using MYOB PLUS version 11 on a PC for 6 years. I just got a MAC and thought that MYOB First Edge was the right program. In fact it doesn't open up any MYOB PLUS files at all and MYOB...

FirstEdge was designed with your small business in mind. Whether you use Mac OS X or Mac OS 8.6-9.x, you can:
    • manage your sales, receivables and GST obligations
    • track your bank accounts
    • job costing and profitability
    • store your contact information
    • print professional-looking invoices — all from the one easy to use system
it should all work fine on your new mac!?

If your mybo plus version was a mac version also, you would be able to network the program on to both computers.
