Question about Toshiba Satellite A75-S209 Notebook
My laptop no longer charges the battery and the computer repair store I took it to told me it needs a new system board (they said it would cost at least $900) due to the where you plug the computer in to charge it is starting to seperate from the system board. I have heard of several people reacting it by sodering it back on but I can't figure out how to take the top (keyboard and moniter section) off its seems to have a lock of some sort is there a manual I can reference for this.
The toshiba laptop has ways of checking if it will not charged
check the battety light if it coming on when it is plug in
If the not meaning the battery is bad
If the lights comes up and the computer is still not charging the battery test if the compter will power without the battery if it will then battery is bad
If the computer will not turn on even the lights on the panel shows activity then you can conclude that the AC adpter is bad
