Lamp please I would like to know how many lamp in the projection and how can it be replaced?

In every rear projection tvs there should be 3 lamps u have to take the front screen off and wen putting a new lamp in touch it with a soft lint cloth

If the screen becomes dark, the color looks unusual, or the LAMP indicator on the front of the TV flashes, it indicates that the lamp of the TV needs to be replaced. I just need to know the part number to replace the projection lamp for my Toshiba 50H82.


This is a CRT based unit and does not have a "lamp" for replacement. Can you please describe the problem in more detail?

I have a Sony KDF-E50A10 Grand WEGA LCD. The picture cuts in and out and the green standby light flashes. One expert said the STKs need to be replaced??? How can I do this...please advise in detail.


Replace your lamp. Your DLP set does not have Stk ic's in it. I don't know what expert told you that but I can assure you he has never worked on a TV. You can purchase the lamp from www.dlplamps.com

Tv turns off for a minute and comes back on


Hi,
if tv turns On itself after shuts down then its symptom of weak lamp as current lamp is reaching to end of its working life, tv requires lamp replacement.
Lamp replacement procedure would be written in user manual and its easy. Please buy Sony original lamp for good picture.

Red bulb lamp flashing and screen won't turn on. Just replaced lamp bulb with new one - didn;t fix it.


Please make sure lamp cover is fixed in its place securely, you know it was removed to replace lamp so put lamp cover back in its position and turn ON tv.

Yes, lamp installation procedure is written in user manual of TV and click Sony Support to download user manual copy if required. Lamp replacement is simple process, take out old lamp and slid in new lamp.

Sony KDP-65WS550 is rear projection TV that has 3 picture tubes inside. Let me know what bulb you are asking for help?
It is not DLP TV that has ballast Lamp for back light.

Please replace lamp in TV and lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual of TV.
Please buy Sony original lamp for your TV and avoid aftermarket / cheap lamps.

Need further info, let me know with model number of Sony TV.

Projection lamp nearing end of life replace lamp still coming on


Along with the instructions for the lamp installation, you should have revceived instructions on how to reset the lamp counter. If not, this operation is listed in the owner's manual. If you can not locate that manual, please confirm your model number and I will post the instructions. Since the counter has not been reset, the TV will continue to show the "error" message.
