Remove it from the counter, unhook it, get something to tilt the front forward and get under it... Might not be the pump itself, is there a screen in the drain - or has something managed to get past that initial out drain?
Best regards

SOURCE: Noisy drain pump on FDB635RF?

Two questions: 1) Are there filters that need to be cleaned on a routine basis with the FDB635RF? and 2) What causes the scum left behind on glasses and utensils? I use a rinse aid, but doesn't seem to be helping. This is a recent problem.

SOURCE: Dishes aren't coming clean.

The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

To replace check this link:

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

2003 Dodge Durango Noisy water Pump, Coolant coming out of overflow drain

Sounds like the impeller(fins that are attacheched to the pulley that actually move the coolant) might have came off and it’s not moving coolant

Washer not draining

Sometimes, small objects or articles of clothing can get caught in the drain pump. To determine if anything is blocking the drain pump, remove the drain pump and check the pump for obstructions. If the drain pump is clear of obstructions, but is still noisy during the drain cycle, replace the drain pump.

My washer will spin but not drain

Check to see that your drain pump is working. Normally the drain pump is somewhat noisy and you should hear it start whenever a cycle is completed and your washer needs to drain the water out. If your pump is working, check your drain piping for blockages.

The noise you are hearing might be the Drain pump catching on a foreign object.

My whirlpool washer agitates but will not pump out the water. I thought the timer switch assembly was bad so I replaced it. Still no water pump. I can not find the Model Number tag on the washer...

Noisy spinning and water leak

The noisy spinning on this model washer is usually the drain pump bearing going bad which could also be a possible cause of the leak. Unplug the washer, Tilt your washer back and rest it against the wall. Remove the belt and manually turn the drain pump pulley, if it is hard to turn either way or is grinding or noisy it will need to be replaced. The leak is a little harder to find. Remove the front bottom and top panels, run the washer, stay back with a flashlight and look where the leak is. If the drain pump is bad it is likely leaking. Next check the center, bottom of the tub for leaks, if the leak is her it is likely the cause of both problems. The tub seal is leaking and has ruined the tub bearing. The tub seals and bearing would need to be replaced. Very involved job, and I would suggest you call a servicer with the expensive tools and knowledge to do the job. There is also a bearing on the bottom of the transmission which could be noisy but would not cause a leak. Hope it is only your drain pump.

Very noisy water pump

It is not uncommon for water pumps to become noisy , this will only be apparent when in use i.e. draining, replacing it is not generally a difficult or expensive D.I.Y repair , but avoid tipping the machine up. Ensure machine is unplugged / isolated from electric supply before comencing any repair.

Hotpoint Superplus 7822 dishwasher

At the beginning of the cycle the dishwasher is attempting to pump out any residue water in the waste pipe and sump. It could be that the motor is sticking but you would probably also suffer from it not draining properly.
It may just be noisy pump. I have a similar model and it is also quite noisy but nothing extraordinary.
When the dishwasher is pumping out at the end of the washing cycle it may be quieter when there is water in the pump/pipes but then gets noisy as it 'pumps air'.
