The Kidizoom uses four standard AA batteries. The manual recommends disposable alkaline batteries. If you wish to use rechargeable batteries, they must be charged in a separate battery charger; the camera does not include charging circuitry.

You should be able to find rechargeable batteries and battery chargers at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

How do I work this?

Hello Shannie,
I don't know what is wrong with the camera, but you should be able to charge it with a usb charger. I don't think you should be going after the batteries. Unless people are saying to replace the battery that charges inside. If its that battery I would just try writing a letter to the company complaining and asking for a replacement. How to charge camera

You don't. The Kidizoom uses four standard AA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable. If you use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a standard battery charger. Rechargeable batteries and battery chargers should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

The Kidizoom uses four standard AA batteries. You may use disposable alkalines or rechargeables. If you choose to use rechargeables, you much charge them using a separate charger. The Kidizoom is not a battery charger.

How will i charge my camera because its geting off

The camera takes 4 AA batteries. You have to replace the batteries, not charge them.

Look at page 5 of this manual. It's the VTech Kidizoom Camera manual.

The VTech Kidizoom cannot be charged by USB. It uses 4 batteries instead. When using rechargeable batteries, you need to (re)charge those with an external charger.

The KidiZoom doesn't have a charger as such. It uses four AA batteries, either disposable alkalines or rechargeables. If you use rechargeables, you'll have to charge them outside the camera, using any suitable charger. You can find chargers in any department, electronics, or office-supply store.
