I have a solution that may work. I own one of these. try changing the video setting for the device to NTSC. pretty much like your would with a dvd player settings if its not showing color then you change the picture format. Good Luck

Symmetra LX with error code E0

Below are recommended steps that will help narrow down the E0 fault. First we will diagnose the XR Frame, the Anderson Connector, and the Communication Card. Then you will reseat the XR Communication Card. Then we will slowly introduce the batteries into the XR Frame to see if anyone of the batteries is causing the issue.

Step 1: Remove all of the batteries from the XR Frame.
Step 2: Disconnect the XR Frame from the UPS by removing both the Anderson connector and the RJ14 Communications Cable.
Step 3: Reseat the Communications Card from the rear of the XR Frame.
--> You may need a flat head screwdriver to remove the 2 thumb screws located on the far left and right of the card.
--> You will also want to make sure that the Black Frame # selector (small black rectangle with a small white arrow)is switched to the correct number -- in your case 2. This switch is located on the card you just reseated.
Step 4: Allow the UPS to see that the XR Frame was removed.
--> You can verify this by using the Powerview display: Menu > Diags > Batteries > *here you will have the option to select 'FRAME 1 OF 1' or '1 OF 2' ... You want it to say 1 of 1.
Step 5: Reconnect the RJ14 Cable.
Step 6: Reconnect XR Frame, with no batteries installed.
--> You will want to make sure that the XR Frame comes online by itself. You should see the frame number in red letters/numbers and you will see a green light on the Communications Card. If the XR Frame does not come on then you may have a problem with the Anderson Connector, the RJ14 Cable, or the Communications Card itself -- contact me for help here.
Step 7: If the XR Frame is on, reintroduce the batteries into the XR Frame one at a time making sure that you can see the number of batteries increase in the Powerview Display.
--> If the E0 error appears again after introducing a battery, then remove the battery, set it aside, and continue inserting the remaining batteries. Repeat this step if the E0 error appears with another battery. If the problem is fixed and you had to set aside batteries -- then all you will need to obtain replacement batteries -- contact me for a quote.

After you follow these steps very carefully, you should know what is causing the error or have it fixed altogether.

How to correctly install batteries in ultra model 1000ap?

Place your two new type CB1270 batteries on their sides, one on top of the other in front of you with the battery connectors closest to you and with the battery connectors to your left. Connect the short (2 inch) jumper cable between the two center battery posts (1 red/1 black). Slide the battery stack into the chassis with the battery posts to your left as you face the front of the UPS and be careful that the battery posts do not touch the metal chassis. When the batteries have been slid completely into the chassis, connect the heavy red wire from the circuit board to the red battery connector at the bottom of the battery stack and the heavy black wire from the circuit board to the top black battery connector. If you have doubts about your wiring, use a DC voltmeter set to the 50v range and touch the red probe to the red battery post at the bottom of the battery stack while touching the black probe to the black battery post at the top of the stack. The reading on your meter should be somewhere between +24 and +26v depending on the charge level of your batteries.

L5-30 receptacle for built in vacuum. Receptacle has only 3 leads, one calling for the ground and another for the white. What about the 2 hots (red and black)?

The receptacle is for 120 volt 3 wire connection. The white and black wires would be connectyed to the screw terminals on the receptacle. the red would not be used in this case, just the black, white , and green.

Belkin 1500va (uses 2 - 12v 7ah batteries)

check out this picture, it shows the 2 batteries wired up.

Notice that the batteries are flipped opposite of each other.
So from left to right its: bottom red, bottom black, top black, top red

http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1092&page=2

Between the 2 batteries there is 1 red to black connection.
Then black to black-wire to circuit board
and red to red-wire to circuit board.

Replacing a receptacle

As always when working with electricity, shut off the power. Use a circuit tester to make sure that the power is really off. Unscrew the receptacle's cover plate; be sure you get a replacement receptacle that's the correct type for your wiring?though most receptacles are standard, aluminum wiring should only be connected to receptacles designated CO-ALR. When installing the new receptacle, connect the black (hot) wire to the brass terminal screw, the white (neutral) wire to the silver screw, and the bare (ground) wire to the green ground screw. Unscrew the receptacle cover plate and unscrew the receptacle. Disconnect the wires from the terminals. Form a curl with a pair of needle-nose pliers so the wires hook clockwise around the screws, then tighten the terminal screws. Screw the receptacle to the box and add the cover plate.
