I have a 1GB memory card in my phone....when ever i download something i attach my memory card to my pc and transfer it to the card and use it .........but when ever i download any software it does not work....i transfer to my card.but when i insert my card into my phone..i'm not able to find the software in my mobile.....please help me......in which folder i should i transfer that software ........ i had downloaded skin manager for my moto SLVR L7 but i'm not able to install it to my cell please help me............

This is the same deal with a lot of other people, including myself. You need a smaller SD card to transfer anything. The problem I've had is getting Windows to recognize my SD card when I insert it into my laptop. But the first issue you'd have is with a 2GB card, which isn't recognized in the SLVR. Also, some cards aren't compatible with Windows. Cheap ones like Transcend have issues being read and formatted by Windows, cause they're cheap to begin with. Get something from perhaps Crucial or Kingston. You're better off with a good brand anyways.

see and change memory card information Find it: Press - > Settings > Phone Status > Storage Devices 1 Press S to highlight the memory card. 2 Press the Details key to see the memory card information or Press - to see the Storage Device menu, which lets you Format or Rename the memory card.
