How can I turn a CLX-3185FN into a CLX-3185FW?

Buy a Netgear WNCE 2100 which has one wired ethernet port connected internally to a wifi radio which is a 2.4GHz transceiver with WPA security. Fully compatible with most routers from D-Link, Netgear, Buffalo, etc. The samsung printer has a USB port to which you can connect and power the WNCE2100. This product is called by two different names. Sometimes it is called a Universal Ethernet Adaptor and others it is called a Network Bridge--which is more accurate. The Netgear product is b/g/n compatible. Try to place it not more than one room away from the router because the signal strength drops very fast if it is more than one wall and or 40feet from the wireless router.

Should be able to set all computers to default to Brother printer in the preferences section of the printer control panel ( look in 'control panel' of computer). You ca n also download manual from Brother website. Just type make and model + word Manual into search engine, and it should throw up the appropriate link.

Setup with a netgear print server

Be sure you have it setup correctly and the IP address is correct. Also you may want to check with Netgear on whether or not that model is compatible with Bi-Directional printers.

Can you connect it to your computer by wireless

Sure can. Just buy a wireless print server with USB output. They are made by most big names like: Trendnet, D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, etc. I see them on Ebay for low prices 5-20 dollars.
Just make sure you get a match to the router you have for frequencies. For example: G or N

Cannot connect Lexmark X4550 to wireless laptop

I had the same problem with many phone calls to lexmark with no results.

I had a linksys router and only when I bought a netgear was I able to get them connected.

My solution was to change my router so maybe you have a similar problem with yours, definately if its a linksys as they just dont like lexmark.
