Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)
When i power up the player "sandisk"will appear on the screen and after holding 2 or 3 seconds it will off( black screen will appear).it cannot boot up.when i connect to pc it shows charging status beside of this it is recognized by z pc but cannot be opened.how can i solve this?
First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.
If it does not work, you may need to get a firmware update from this web site: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376
Remember that you need to back up all of your information before doing the update. Hope this helps.
