Question about Car Audio & Video
When my car stereo was installed in my car, i believe it was done wrong. When i turn on the car the radio doesn't come on right away. i have to physically hit the power button to turn it on. i also have to reset all of my radio stations. This happens every single time i start my car. Is there any way i can fix this? Please let me know.
Friend i believed also that it is not wired properly. The best solution is to rewire it. Of course you can fix that.
First thing you should do is to trace the circuit from your car's battery to the amp and to the speakers be sure that turning on your car makes the circuit on, i believed that the wires that makes your amp turn on is not direcltly connected to the wires on your car's switch key. The wires from your amp is connected directly to the battery. Check if your amp is in series with your car's switch key wires, if it is not then, try rewiring it in series with your car's switch key wires.
Caution: Having wrong connection will give damage to your car and maybe to you. If you do not know basic electricity , the best way to deal with your problem is to have someone in your area who is an expert to wire your car.
