Question about JVC Televison & Video

Bad Disc Errors

Hello. I am getting a "Bad Disc" error when trying to load a disc in the player. It tries to load for about 30-45 seconds and then the error appears. This is occurring on ALL discs. This just started an hour ago. I was watching an episode on a disc. Then when finished I tried to start the next episode. It would not start so I opened/closed the tray and retried, and then shut the player down and retried. No matter what disc I put in however, I get the same error and I know the discs are good.

The model number is not appearing above, so I'm noting it here. Its a JVC SD-6000 DVD player.

No, they're store-bought DVD movies (X-Files, Star Wars, etc).

Disc loading mechanism fault. Might be due to a broken loading belt, or broken gear wheel/s. You have to take the mechanism out from the device for repair, and it is somewhat skilled work. Contact any service technician to get this set repaired. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

The DVD player on my Bush 32inch television takes in DVD's but just displays 'No Disc' the model number is DLED32165HDDVD Is it something I can fix?

The player has failed, these types of devices are not fixed as the cost to repair is in some cases more than a new one. More than likely you could not get parts for it even if you knew the cause, which is most likely a failed laser light

Our new blurry player bpm25 will not play disc . It just churns and churns then says chech disc and door opens

Either the laser is faulty/dirty or the spindle motor which drives the disc is faulty.

Zenith dvd5201 tray won't open. How do you remove case to release tray? I have unplugged and replugged and then held open/close for 5 seconds without success. I don't have local repair.

It sounds like the drive belt is slipping or a disc stuck.

I have a Toshiba DVD recorder and I keep getting error code E3 28031100 and a window that says the disc cannot be recorded on. Discs are new or in good shape but, won't play/record. Any solution?

SOME DISCS HAVE SAFETY FEATURE WHERE IT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO RECORD IT AND ITS JUST NOT POSSIBLE ON NEWER DVDS BECAUSE OF THE WHOLE PIRACY CASE

My factory DVD player will except disc the ejects it

If I understand your rather cryptic post correctly...

This very well could be a Blue-Ray disk loaded into a
non-Blue-Ray capable DVD player. Your car player's capabilities MUST match the disc, otherwise, the disc won't play.

I've run into this very same problem with my home DVD players. Which both are non-Blue-Ray capable, but I was able to verify the Blue-Ray discs on my PC.

DVD player wont eject dicks or play just say's disc error

You need to insert dicks into the DVD player, also, once it ejects the dicks, you should wait 20 minutes or so before attempting to eject more dicks.
