Some of the old camera phones as well as cameras, really lose their time and date as the memory doesn't have power to run it. Some of the new cameras store some power so that the time and memory stamp has enough power to stay on till the battery is replaced. I don't know what your camera is but the time not staying in the memory is normal in some cameras.

When I put fully charged batteries in my camera and turn it on the screen works fine. However, when I install any picture card and turn the camera on it gets stuck at the Pentax Optio screen. I will stay...

I have to say that you are probably using the wrong SD card. Or the memory card is to big and the camera cant handle all that memory space. I recomend that you try a 512mb San Disk SD Card. Dont mistake this for any card. Dont use a San Disk SDHC card. Do this and make sure your batteries are charged and you should of solved your problem. Good-Luck.

Will not power on, i turned it on and it said replace batters, did that now nothing. change batters again still nothing

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

Busy light comes on when I start the camera

I believe your camera comes with a 90 day manufacturer's warranty. I would goto Canon's website as soon as possible.

Good luck!

I had the same problem--One day it worked fine-- the next day it booted up and cut of. I recharged batters. Then I noticed the memory card would not upload to my PC. WELL, I tried a New Memory card and it (the) Camera worked fine.. So just change the card and give it a try..Good Luck.
