I have a little exclamation point up next to my blue tooth symbol and I don't know what that means.

That's the notification icon. It indicates that you've "received 2 or more different types of notifications: Voice Missed Calls / Schedule / Call Alarm / Alarm Clock".

Check your Missed Alerts on the phone menu, your alarm clock settings in menu > tools and failing that, try going back through your calendar to see if you've missed any meetings or something there.
