How to fit towbar to holden captiva

As fitting a tow bar to the vehicle requires a modification plate to be fitted to keep it legal I suggest that you have the job done by accredited tow bar fitting specialists. They have the correct wiring loom and the plate to fix to the vehicle for the modification

My RV has two 13,500 acs with heat pumps. I would like to replace the front unit with a 15,000 btu unit with heat pump. Can the saame wirrung and theromostat be used, or will modifications be required?

I don't see why you should have any problems as long as you don't exceed to current supplied by the circuit breaker, and since your basically not going to be drawing much more current from your 13.5K unit to the 15k unit I would say that you should not have any problems.

If your happy with my suggestion would you kindly rate me.

Good luck,

My Rodeo has gear box noise, requires.. Techline Tl.1761A..0909 which is a modification to send oil to top of the box. I have owned the ute for six months. I was hoping to get some help from my GM dea

The modification you quote would have been issued from the manufacturer and should have been applied at a service point or you should have been notified to present the vehicle for the modification at a suitable time . I take it that you purchased the vehicle new from the dealer. I would approach the dealer manager and ask why the modification was not carried out under warranty and ask that it now be done free of charge. If he refuses then the friendship ends and I suggest a talk with legal council to have the matter dealt with as all modifications have to be carried out either inside or outside warranty. IT will have something to do with a recognised engineering design fault which will override any warranty period .

My AQGMD149 washer-dryer has a fault code F 1 and says the machine is blocked

The fault code F1 (or F01) is a Motor/triac fault. The triac is a device for controlling the relatively high currents required by the washing machine motor from the low power chips etc on the main Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Either the motor or triac has a short circuit condition. Check connectors on motor and main PCB card making sure they are sound and not lose. If the connectors are ok I would replace the triac or power board.

My 2004 ford explorer redlines at 55 mph

because you have not mentioned what transmission you have I will start with a manual. I am thinking that the clutch pressure plate is on the way out and is slipping in the peak torque of the engine and allowing the engine rpms to peak out. Check clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder as the compensating port may be blocked and holding the clutch partially disengaged. If you have an auto- run fault codes and look for an OD servo/sensor fault. Have a pressure test done on the box to check for internal faults. Check oil level when hot

I cant find my fuse for the license plate lamps. I was in an accident and one of them got smashed and the other is not lighting either. Im thinking its a fuse problem but there is no fuse dedicated to the...

hi.
most cars run licence plate lamps on the same fuse as the tail lights.
if your tail lights work, then it is more likely to be a fault on the bulbs or bulb holders, or the wiring in that area, probably caused by the crash.

i would recheck this area first, using new bulbs to rule these out.

Bosch Washing Machine wis 24140 can it be affected by microwave as last washine machine we had also a Bosch needed a plate put in as the element used to over heat

In short, no. A correctly functional microwave oven should not affect any other appliances.

I can offer no comment regarding your last Bosch washing machine as you haven't given any specific details, but as with all brands there are sometimes models which are found to require in-service modifications and service bulletins and modification kits are then made available to engineers. I haven't ever heard of the modification which you mention on any Bosch washing machines though and it's not mentioned in my service bulletins folder.

Front panel button turn tv on and off

If both the remote and the front panel buttons do not work, I would be thinking that it is a problem with the TV's main uPC area. This type of fault can be involved, and would require factory level service where the fault can be properly analysed.

I can tell you in advance, that this type of fault can be expensive to service.
