Hello,
If it is the problem with Microsoft Genuine Validation and you are using A Pirated Copy Of Windows XP (XP Pro, Media Center 2005, Tablet PC, Home or other), Then just find the WGA.exe file in C:\Windows\System32 (It is with a serrated star like icon), And delete it after killing the application using task manager. And you are back in track, no need to buy and reload.
Turn off automatic update, rather use "Notify me but don't automatically download or install them."
Prevent downloading "Microsoft Genuine Validation Diagnostic Tool"
To get WGA crack visit www.piratebay.org, type and hit. Always free.
I will recomend to use Microsoft Genuine XP.

Thank for use FIXYA.
Hope this helps.

Maybe you are not using a genuine Windows operating system. you have turned on the automatic update from your PC, and microsoft detected that you are not using a licensed one. I suggest, do a reformat and reinstall a genuine Windows, or if you are planning to use the unlicensed one, turn off the automatic updates.

My desktop screen monitor is not showing up and i can't find my control panel,my laptop name and model is-ACER TRAVEL/MATE 381TCi..how can i update and go to the internet???...it says(you may be a...

i think the operating system has been updated by u(knowingly or unknowingly) and the operating system is not original(pirated/cracked).
Buy an original one or use an oem version if u have got with ur machine.
The best method will be to format and reinstall the operating system and not update it.

"You may be a victim

Welcome to FixYa!

If you're seeing notifications that the copy of Windows that is installed on your PC might not be genuine, or that you might be a victim of counterfeit software, it's likely that your copy of Windows was not properly activated or is otherwise not genuine. To fix this, click the notification and follow the steps to either repair Windows or-if you have inadvertently obtained counterfeit software-buy genuine Windows.

If you are using Windows XP, download and install the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification Application. It will scan your operating system and will remove the annoying message if it's a legitimate copy of windows.

My computer shows "you may be a victim of software

you have to uninstall windows and office for your convenience and to remove that piracy warning. after reinstalling your software, DO NOT register your copy of windows nor your office online for the serial key may be blocked or blacklisted.
