We have an antenna and 2 vizio HDTVs. The first one will no longer receive CBS, but the one in the bedroom does connected to the same antenna line. Why would one receive a sufficient signal, but not the other?

I recommend you check the connection from the line splitter of where the second TV is connected. IF you have a bad line splitter this is a common issue for other TVs connected to the same antenna. replace the line splitter would be the recommendation.thanks

Can't get cbs

Some TV's have poor amplification of the antenna signal, make sure you have a high quality RG6 signal cable, mount antenna with line of sight to TV tower as any obstruction can affect signal strength, AntennaPoint has directions you can use with a compass. If the signal is still low, try a HDTV booster amplifier. If the antenna is indoors, you need to move it around to find a hot spot that brings in all the channels (preferably in the attic).
Buffering on Netflix has nothing to do with the with the antenna, as you have to connect via the web to receive this service. In my opinion, TV's like Samsung are not very good with streaming video, and you are better off using some other device like an old laptop or external device hooked up to the TV to do this.

I just bought a m221nv from ebay tv dealer an he said i could jus plug it in in my kitchen, bedrm or ? and watch it via my router cause it has wifi no need connect cable, antenna or anything but i cant get...

The wifi connection will allow you to access content via the Vizio Internet Apps (Netflix for example) but not tv broadcasts.
Your tv can access tv broadcasts (CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC) over the air but w/o an external antenna the signal and therefore the quality will probably be weak.
To access cable/direct tv/fios content you will need to connect the tv via a cable.

Hello! I haven't a problem Yet! I am contemplating buying a used "owned" Dish single tuner PVR 508 and adding it to my current configuration. My home is 2 years old and wired for cable in 5...

Hello, this Luke. Hooking the 508 to any TV is just like hooking a DVD to TV. Just used whichever cable available to you. e.g. RCA, coax. But if you want to have Satellite programming to that receiver, that would be a different thing. You will have to call Dish to add that receiver to your account with them. They will verify that receiver if it is registered to an account with debt and add it to your account if it is clear. They might need to send an installer to hook it up. Let me know if this help.

This tv is not connected to cable or dish, but has an interior antenna. up to about 2 months ago, we could get network channels (abc, nbc, cbs) which is all we wanted. Suddenly CBS dropped out, says "no...

How far away is the CBS station? Are there any obstacles that would block the signal (say new construction)?

What channels do antennaweb.org or tvfool.com suggest you will get from your location? (Antennaweb is more conservative and assumes an outdoor antenna.) Do you need to rotate your antenna to get one transmitter or the other? Indoor antennas are more likely to get interference and direction issues.

You may want to restore your TV to the default and then rescan the channels. (This may or may not help. It usually helps more with scrambled information than lost channels.)

I hope this helps.

(good luck. I've had issues with my CBS and Fox affiliates (sharing a transmitter location). At first it was clearly my TV and the reset helped. Now I have no clue as to the cause - the external TV antenna gives a strong signal on the other TV. The problem TV says the signal is bad and this is the closest transmitter and antennaweb says I should get it easily. Even pointing the antenna straight at the transmitter doesn't help.)

Vizio VA26L - Tuner problem. After approx. 6 weeks, local Fox channel (36.1) no longer receivable. Contacted Vizio support and went through all trouble shooting procedures to no avail. Support says it is a...

Take the set and reprogram it where one of the other sets are ok. Digital signal is not so forgiving as analog, also place one of the sets that is receiving that station in place of the not receiving one. It's possible that the signal level at the bad spot is on the border line and that model can't hold on to it. You may also check visio's web site for any software up grade to your model that you may have to down load.

I have just got 22in plasma screen in bedroom but signals only 74% I have bought tv/fm 2 way signal booster will that help?

74% is good. If this is from an outdoor antenna and you are the only one connected to it no the booster will not help. The signal would need to be boosted at the antenna itself. Please take a few moments to rate my answer. Thanks..

Digital channels freeze

I also had this channel 5-1 freezing problem and spoke with Vizio support a few times. They thought the problem was the SSID code from the local CBS station and said they would try talking with them. I am not certain if they did this or not, but, as of mid December, my Vizio no longer has this problem.
