Probably not. These camera are considered 'disposable' just like most small electronics.
But check out Kodak custmer support to be sure

My Kodak Easyshare z740 has vertical lines and picture quality looks bleached out. Any ideas on repair?

The problem you are describing sounds like the LCD on the back of your camera could be broken. This could be due to exposure to extreme temperatures, a drop/fall, or it could be a mechanical failure within the camera.
If you think it may be a mechanical failure and your camera is still under warranty, visit the Kodak support website below and initiate a live chat with a support agent to determine if Kodak can repair the camera for you.

Screen won't work

Hi,
There is a button that switches between the Eye Level Viewfinder (ELF) and the LCD. It is located on the back of the camera just above the screen on the right side. It has "ELF/LCD" on it. I only know this because I have the same button on my camera.
With the camera powered up. Push that button. If it works? Great! If pushing it doesn't work, A professional repair will be needed from Kodak.
It is a nice camera, so it may be worth the fix.Perhaps it is covered under warranty.
But first, unless you've already done it. Push the button.
I hope this helps and I truly hope the camera isn't broken.
Have a Happy New Year,
Best, Mark

Camera doesnt turn on

The Li Ion battery is going bad, or is not charged fully. When the voltage goes down below a certain level, the camera will not operate at all.

And, using other batteries other than Li Ion won't work, either.

Screen and view finder not showing anything

Just covering the bases...
Make sure the lens cap is removed
Turn the ON/OFF switch to Favorite mode
Press EVF/LCD does it toggle
Look to see if the battery level ICON shows better then half
Battery combination sometimes will show a strong icon level
It may be strong in the other modes which draws less power then the picture taking mode.
My guess would be New Battery replacement.
Some tests were done that may be of value to your solution

If i go to favorites it works fine switch over to the camara it starts to work the screen goes off and stops

I may be able to help with your Kodak EasyShare Z740 that works in favorites but turns off in camera mode. This is a common problem.

This is either caused by a problem extending the lens, or a computer brain problem that is reset with a button press sequence.

Try these steps to fix your camera.

I hope that helps.

Dropped camera, SD card came out. Took 2 more pictures, camera turned off. Replaced batteries, camera turns on and then back off.

I may be able to help with your Kodak EasyShare Z740 that turns itself off.

It may be a 'lens extending' problem, or it might be fixed with a combination of button presses to reset it while turning it on.

Try these steps to fix your camera.

I hope that helps.
