Re: the led on my webcam blinks every few minutes...
I always put a small box over my cam or unplug it when I'm not using it just to be safe, maybe you should do the same or something similar. As for the light blinking, not sure as the make and model of your cam are not mentioned (or is it integrated?).
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

MY philips tv model number 55PL9773/17 WAS TURNING OFF THE SCREEN AND LEAVING THE AUDIO ON FOR ONE MINUTE. THEN THE YELLOW LIGHT STAYED ON. THEN THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. thEN I TURNED ON WITH THE REMOTE AND THE YELLOW LIGHT TURNED ON AND A FEW SECONDS LATER CHANGED TO THE GREEN LIGHT AND THE TV TURNED ON. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, BETWEEN 10 AND 30 IT DID THE SAME THING. NOW IT IS OFF WITH A BLINKING RED LIGHT PERMANENTLY ON. TO TURN IT OFF I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL. I REPLACE THE LAMP A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT IS FINE.
Had same problem. Remedy is to put digibox back to factory reset. Dis-connect from mains. Keep pressing + button on front panel as you re-connect to mains. Red LED will be on, when orange LED blinks release + button. briefly press + button. You have solid red LED and blinking red LED. Enter code 9 9 0 0, by remote blinking LED will show green. Wait a few minutes and the instalation page will appear on screen. Go to update and start as you did before and C5 should be installed. Hope that helps. Dave
I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off. I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.
While I can't tell you what this particular code means I know from experience that power boards fail frequently commonly on those TVs. Do you hear a clicking of the power supply first on and then off after a few seconds?
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
I had exactly this problem. After plugging and unplugging it multiple times over several weeks (even plugging it in quickly after it was unplugged but with the green light still flashing as suggested here) all to no avail, it just started working on its own one day. It worked for a few weeks and then the problem re-appeared.
InFocus tech support recommended: 1. Check whether the lamp door is securely closed. 2. Check the color of the LED and the number of time it blinks. (For me, a very fast almost flickering flash) 3. Does the fan operate? (My fan would go on when plugged in) 4. Remove the lamp module, shake it gently and reseat the lamp module.
For me, these steps did not work. InFocus then recommended that I send it to ProjectorDoctor http://online.projectordoctor.com/, and it was diagnosed with a bad power supply. $395, but it is fully functional again. Good luck.........
it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the
point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty
environment is not a good idea
