Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
I have many computers in our house hooked up to our netgear router... no problem, now i want to put the hardware from my old computer into a different one i got and i lost the cd and can not get online ... the computer is also far away from the router so its not like i can take it downstairs and just plug it in... please advise me as to what my options are or do i have to by a new set up for this computer?
You do not need the installation CD to install the router. The CD is just a convenience item for computer novices. Netgear does supply SETUP documentation for many of its routers that take you through the manual installation of them.
For the WGR614 router, the manuals for the different versions can be found here:
If you have problems or do not completely understand the installation process, please do not hesitate to ask here or e-mail me.
