Im not sure if this is going to help, but it helped when mine wouldnt start. take off the top frame of the dvd player so you can see part of the disk tray. put the dvd in and if you notice that its not spinning, then try spinning it to the left with your finger.

Since a week ago, the player doen't want to read bluray discs. It reads the dvds but not the bluray discs.

The DVDs use red light, and the blue rays use blue light, 2 systems. Have you tried a cleaning disc?

DVDs are playing with green tinge

Greetings and Salutations,

If your using the component outputs from your DVD player I would first check to make sure that the cables for the Red and Blue channels are connected properly. If the cable is connected correctly then try replacing both the Red and Blue channel cable. If this fails to fix the problem try connecting to another component input on your TV if you have one available.

You might also want to check to see if you switched on the progressive scan switch on the back of the VCR/DVD unit. If you know someone with another DVD player have them bring it over and see if the problem is still exists.

If the green picture is still present then the problem is and internal problem with the TV and you will need to find a repair center for it. If the problem goes away then the problem is with the VCR/DVD combo unit. You can at this point also try using just the Video Out from the DVD player.

Hope these suggestions will help you with your problem.

Player will not play all region dvd's

You cannot make a player play all regions. You can however research to find a program for your computer that will enable it to play all regions.

Pinnacle produced DVDs wont play in computer

Internal DVD Burners are dirt cheap, so I would shop for a replacement Burner to solve the problem (you can find one on ebay for $30 bucks or less shipped to your door).
Good luck.

DVD stopped playing all DVDs

Reset you player by doing the following:
With the player on, hooked properly to your television, and on the correct station:
Open the tray
Close the tray (with no DVD inserted)
Hold the stop button down for a full 5 seconds
The CyberHome screen should appear. You should be able to play your dvd's now.

Cant play anything on it

I had the same problem, After googling for a few minutes I found the reset procedure for this player.

1. Turn it on.
2. Eject any disk you have in there and close the tray.
3. Hold down the "STOP" button on the player (not remote) until the green light flashes red and the system reboots.
4. Insert disk and enjoy.

This worked for me... mileage may vary.
