I am having trouble connecting my d link router to my new computer tower

ApprenticeMy wbr 1310 is horrible i have it set up so that i can use my ps3 online but when i go to network status it is at about 30-60 strength i dont no how to fix it. When i play call of duty 4 it takes forever to set up game but when im the host i get in right away. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
