My samsung corby cannot be charge..how can i solve this problem?

I would try charging it with a different charger. its more likely that the charger itself is the issue. If not then the issue could be with the phone. Try a hard reset of the phone ( pulling the battery) and then put battery back in and plug in charger. try moving it around if no connection issue could be with the charger or the charging port on the phone.

When i plug my charger in i have to move it around for it to start charging and if i move my phone it quits charging its not the chargers i have tired im thinking it my phone. what do i do?

The charging socket on you phone needs to be resoldered, OR the plug on the charging adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.
To determine which is faulty, use a different charger and plug it into your phone and move the charging plug to see if the it quits charging. If it quits charging then the charging socket on the phone needs fixing (re-soldering).

Please help - my phone won't charge at all when i plug charger in (i have 2 chargers and neither works), however the headphones work perfectly. what is the problem ? thanks - avril

Hello,

The charging port of your phone should be the cause of the problem. It's either the charger is not contacting the charging port well enough or the charging port might be defective and needs to be replaced.

Use a pin to scratch the surface of the charging port and try again. If that doesn't work, then know for sure that you will have to replace the charging port.

If you feel you can do the replacement yourself let me know when you get a charging port replacement so that I can direct you.

Good luck.

Hi,are you saying that it charges well when you use another charger? it is possible then that you will have to get another charger..but if it behave the same way with other charger, it means the charging port is faulty...cheers

When I first switch on the new blackberry curve 8300 , the battery is not charging . The battery is not having voltage , around 0.7V. left it to charge for 24 hours , still the same. this is he first time...

there is some danger in charging a lithium battery once the cell voltage goes below a critical value .. so some chargers will refuse to charge such a battery .. you can "jump start" the battery if it hasnt been dead too long ... some special chargers do that ... they momontarilly force a voltage across the battery .. that gets the cell voltage above the critical value where the charger can kick in .. the charger will take over from there ... some people use a 9 volt battery connected momontarily across the lithium as a jump start .. but this is definatly not safe unless you know what you are doing ... if you reverse polarity or leave the battery connected too long then the lithium can overheat even explode .. once the battery is "jump started" then it should be monitored to make sure it doesnt get hot during charge .. if so you should replace the battery ... another possibility could be that your charger has a broken wire .. that usually happens right at the plug in connector ... if the charge light lights then thats not the problem ... if it doesnt or is intermittant as you wiggle the wire then thats a good place to start ..

Phone not charging unless i hold it in my hand and squeeze the charger. Same thing happens with a new charger

Try to reduce the length of wire of your cell's charger.Cut the wire of your charger and reduce its length.Reconnect both wires the same way they were connected before and please make sure wires wont touch each other.Set your phone at charge and see if its charging,if not then connect the wires again but differently.
If you have the same problem with other chargers too then the problem is with your charging port. You'll have to take your cell to cell phone repairer.

Thank you!

Charging P168 with USB cord

i have heard someone say that the charger goes in both ways on your model, and that one way it charges and the other way it detects headphones. try flipping your charger upside down vice-versa.

No power, all buttons flash when connected to ac charger

if charger voltage is ok then it could be phones charging controler is not working. if phonebook is only thing you need could recharge battery directly from your charger and then save your phone book. cut off charging plug-connector from your charger make two bare wires and then apply red wire to battery "+" and blck to "-". 5min of charging will be enough to copy your data
